Calculate mining hash rate
Hash rate is a measure of the computational power of a cryptocurrency mining hardware (like ASICs or GPUs). It represents the number of hashing calculations (guesses to solve the cryptographic puzzle) the miner can perform per second (e.g. MH/s, GH/s, TH/s).
Mining profitability is calculated by estimating the daily revenue generated by your hash rate (based on network difficulty and block rewards) and subtracting operational costs, primarily electricity costs (calculated as hardware wattage × hours × local power rate).
A mining pool is a collaborative group of miners who combine their hash rate to find blocks more frequently and split rewards. The pool operator charges a pool fee (typically 1% to 2% of earnings) to maintain the pool infrastructure.
