Convert between angle units
Degrees and Radians are two different units for measuring angles. A full circle is equal to 360 degrees or 2π radians. Degrees are commonly used in geometry and navigation, while radians are preferred in physics and calculus.
To convert degrees to radians, multiply the degree value by π/180. For example, 90 degrees converted to radians is: 90 × (π/180) = π/2 ≈ 1.5708 radians.
A gradian (also known as gon or grad) is a unit of angle measurement where a right angle is divided into 100 centesimal grades. A full circle is divided into 400 gradians. It is primarily used in surveying and civil engineering.
